The Castronovian Peoples' Republic

Introduction

[Top of Page]

Background: Recently liberated by the valiant struggle of the martyrs of the Castronov people, within the Castronov Peoples Army, the people formed the Castronovian Peoples' Republic to organise and provide the necessary central structure for the equal distribution of resources amongst the people. There will be no shortages, no inefficiency, and no one will be left on the street, without home or food; the population will be well-fed, well-housed and very well-educated and healthy. Castronovia provides over a million people with a home and freedom from the oppression of the capitalist power structures they fled.

Economy

[Top of Page]

Economy - overview: Economics is a tool of the bankers and capitalists to explain in what way they can indebt the people, and so make them a slave to this system of exploitation. The very resources that the working classes produce is then taken from them in exchange for a fraction of their worth to the capitalist land-owners and bankers, and must be bought back from the same at an inflated price.
The Castronov Peoples' State will have no part in providing ANY statistics that might enable these bankers and capitalists to salivate over the productiveness of the Castronov people, so as to heighten their desire to take what belongs to the Castronov people, and sell it back to them at inflated price. Therefore, in this section we shall describe the TRUE worth of the Castronov Peoples State, the achievements that demonstrate the true worth of the state.

Currency: All goods a provided to the population on an as-needed basis, consequently, there is little need of money. However, the Castronovian Peoples' Republic HAS permitted the continued use of the Cimeran Courone in the interim. Soon enough, this currency will have no value in Castronovia, and will be hoarded by the Castronovian Republic as foreign exchange currency.

Exchange rates: 1 Cimeran Courone = 2 Christianan Crowns = 6 Utanian Pund

GDP:
The TRUE wealth of the Castronov Peoples' State is demonstrated in the following ways:

Employment - composition by sector:
Still being assessed by the Department of Economic Planning, Statistics Bureau.
