HOW YOU CAN HELP THE GOVERNOR
|
|
Edward R. Hope,
stands for freedom, faith, personal endeavour and making the most of the
opportunities that we are presented in life.
He believes Government should help, not hinder,
these principles, and he is committed to changing the federal government so that it, too,
follows this same principles that are ingrained in Utani and non-Utani culture alike.
Edward Hope is committed to developing the potential of ALL Utanian people,
especially the potential of the children who will inherit the fruits of our efforts.
Edward Hope is committed to ending federal government domination of the country's
economy, and freeing the enterprises of this nation from the government strictures that
prevent free enterprise from blossoming.
Edward Hope is committed to YOUR future, and the future of ALL
Utanians, making sure that we ALL prosper from the potential we have.
|
And this is no idle promise: it is a commitment of a man
who has served the fourteen million people of Lasanne state for five years.
VOTE HOPE. VOTE TO SHARE IN THE FUTURE.
But, what will the Governor stand for? What are his policies?
| Education |
| |
Education is not just another expense governments must pay for -- it is the PROMISE TO
OUR CHILDREN. Education is helping our children to fulfill their potential, it is the
key to their future, and to the future of this nation. Therefore, this MUST
be the highest priority -- and Edward Hope promises to you that if he is elected
President, it WILL be! That is my promise. |
VOTE HOPE. VOTE FOR A FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN.
Wages and inflation |
| |
Inflation is a cancer that eats at the country; it eats our wages, erodes our living
conditions, and then feeds even-worse inflation. It MUST be stopped. As President,
Edward Hope will eradicate inflation, while maintaining strong economic growth and
constantly improving living conditions and wages.
"This country has enormous potential, and we must put it to good work, not only
to improve our standard of living, but to provide for our children the future that we
would seek for ourselves. As President, I will ensure that this scourge of inflation
is brought to an end, so that we can live to our true potential. That is my promise." |
VOTE HOPE. VOTE TO END WAGE-EROSION.
The Utanian culture |
| |
"One of the things I love to marvel at is the capacity of human beings to adapt to a
new situation, to take the new circumstances and forge their lives amidst the change.
This is inately human, it is embedded in the cultures we are raised in, Utani and
Uta-Decashi alike. We all believe in self-reliance and in doing our best as communities,
picking eachother up as communities... I see the policies of the welfare state seriously
eroding this culture of self-reliance. I see the welfare state destroying the very
culture that sustains us, and has sustained us throughout the years of persecution and
tribulation... I tell you now, we may be out from under the yoke of oppression, but
the welfare state will erode the very foundation that has sustained us... We must
protect our culture, our communities, our belief that individuals matter, communities
matter and culture matters. We must not allow ourselves to be lured by the very
appealing but ultimately destructive philosophies of a free lunch, because when
we start to rely on it, we will destroy the very thing that has made this country
the great nation it is today." |
VOTE HOPE. VOTE TO PROTECT UTANIAN CULTURE.
Sharing the prosperity |
| |
As President, Edward Hope would commit himself to the task of sharing the prosperity...
"...And not just because it is right, but because it will destroy the moral and cultural
fabric of this nation if we allow one side of the country to so monstrously out-prosper
the other side of the country..."
As Governor of fourteen million Utanians, Edward Hope improved wages by over 10%,
and kept taxes low so that the prosperity that the state enjoyed, could be enjoyed by
all, and was shared around. This is his pledge to the people of Utania: to do the same
for the whole nation.
"I will keep taxes low, and I will spread the benefits of this nation's
prosperity around. That is my promise."

country demands action. YOU are demanding action. Vote for the man of action: Vote for
Edward Hope.
