The Peoples Republic of Rovens is the name of the UNVCOCN "Gvonj" territory in the north-eastern
portion of the collapsed Guwimithian Empire. We are a union of three distinct people, and this
is represented by our flag: three peoples, one nation, one common destiny.
- The Pataki people are the original inhabitants of the region and still dominate in the
regions behind the mountain range, to the north of Gvonjian territory. They are also in
majority to the immediate east of the mountains. With a long and proud history, the
Pataki have one language, three dialects and four different cultures. The Pataki are
related to the Armatirian people, though culturally separate for some centuries now.
- The Gvonj are Utani peoples who settled in the region as early as two thousand years ago.
they too have their own culture and language.
- The "Guidarm" is a name given to the various other peoples who settled in Rovens as
little as ten years ago, all during the reign of the Guwimithian Empire. Immigrants from
all nations and peoples of the globe, the mostly reside in the east and south east of the
country.
Our aim is to establish and develop a semi-socialist state with unity and common purpose as
our primary goals. Free-enterprise will be encouraged, but the state shall also play a
significant role in the development of the people, the economy and the necessary infrastructure
to survive and prosper. There also remains the significant task of reforming the nation, of
more equitably dividing the wealth, a goal the Peoples Independence Movement for Rovens is
absolutely committed to.
