Geelong are one of the teams to have progressed from second division last year to
the first division this year, and fairing reasonably well.
Geelong are a former team in the Regional Football Association that joined
the UFA in 301 when the second division was created. They have a strong fan base
in the city itself as well as many from the surrounding rural population.
Geelong have two players in the Utanian Crusaders: forward Billy Dennis and defending
midfielder Mark Bennett (M/DR). Defender Phillip Hoy rounds out the team's champion
players. Hoy is one of the few ethnic-Zipangi players at the professional level in
Utania.
