Luka Heights FC are one of the second division teams that joined the premier division
this year and have performed superbly well, holding their own in the mid-range of
the Premier Division. The Luka-based team shares the National Football Stadium with
Luka Central.
Luka Heights came into the competition from the Luka Championship, winning that
championship several times. They parade stars like Dennis Smith and Roger Dwyer,
but have a strong team backing them.
Luka Heights has a fan-membership about 20% the size of Luka Central —
and there is some overlap in members between the two — and about 12% the
revenue of Luka Central. That is an increase, too, on previous years, with Starlight
Satellite Television taking over as Luka Height's main sponsor.
Luka Heights draw their fans primarily from the centre-west of the city of
Luka, which happens to be somewhat where Starlight's headquarters are.
